What You’ll Need

  • Freshly roasted RW coffee
  • V60
  • V60 paper filters
  • Kettle (gooseneck preferred)
  • Digital scale (optional)
  • Timer
  • Cup
  • Hot water

Brew Parameters

  • Dry: 20g coffee
  • Wet: 330g water
  • Water Temp: 96-98° C / 204-208° F
  • Grind: Medium Fine


  1. Pre-wet filter with hot water. Place V60 +Decanter onto scale. Add 20g ground coffee into filter. Tare scale and start timer.
  2. Gently pour 60g of hot water over coffee. Vigorously swift the V60 and decanter in order to mix the dry coffee thoroughly with water.
  3. At 30 sec, gently but steadily pour the remaining 270g of water. Once finished pouring, carefully take the handle of the V60 and spin it 1-2 revolutions
  4. Allow water drawdown to complete (aim for roughly the 3:30 mark). Stir to incorporate the layers and enjoy!

TIPS: If the coffee tastes weak and thin = grind finer If the coffee tastes bitter and dry = grind coarser
